Darren Woodson Accepted to Astronomical REU at Texas A&M University

Kansas Wesleyan University student Darren Woodson, '16, a Mathematics and Engineering Physics dual major, with a Computer Science minor, from Bentley, KS, was accepted to a summer REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He will be a paid intern, through a stipend, performing astronomical research and working with high level telescopes. REUs in the sciences are funded nationwide by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
