SPRINGFIELD, IL (10/18/2016)(readMedia)-- Lt. Col. Leonard Williams, of Dyer, Indiana, the support operations officer for the Illinois National Guard Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 108th Sustainment Brigade, in Chicago, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel during a ceremony Oct. 15 at the Illinois Military Academy on Camp Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois.

He was joined by friends and colleagues and pinned by Brig. Gen. Michael Zerbonia, the Assistant Adjutant General-Army for the Illinois National Guard and Commander of the Illinois Army National Guard.
