East Greenbush Price Chopper Assists Rensselaer Little League to Rebuild

The Price Chopper located at 501 Columbia Turnpike, in Rensselaer is hosting a fundraiser for the Rensselaer Little League. Due to heavy rains and flooding, the league's location was badly damaged. Lawn equipment was ruined and the kitchen, which was just re-done, lost stoves, popcorn makers, slush machines and coolers. Uniforms and equipment were also destroyed.

The event will be held Friday, August 29th from 11am-7pm. Attendees making a $2 donation can receive a BBQ lunch or a Make Your Own Sundae or enjoy both for a $4 donation. Raffle prizes too.

Price Chopper's "hopper" will be on site for children up to 12 years to enjoy for FREE.

Price Chopper will match all monies raised up to $2,500. Barbara L. We are committed to helping the Rensselaer Little League rebuild. This is our way to show our neighbors and children in Rensselaer that we are proud to be part of their community."
