ALBANY, NY (12/07/2012)(readMedia)-- The NYS Board of Regents, IBM and the NYS Business Council are sponsoring a conference entitled Educating Tomorrow's Workforce: Preparing Students to Compete in the 21st Century Economy on Friday, December 7, 2012. The conference will bring together leaders from education, higher education and the business community to discuss steps to develop educational models that better prepare students for college and career. State Education Commissioner John B. King Jr., IBM Vice President for Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs Stanley Litow, and President and CEO of the NYS Business Council Heather Briccetti will address the conference.
