Employers honored for supporting the Air Force Reserve
NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, NY (11/10/2009)(readMedia)-- At 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009, the Falcon Club here at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station will host a commander's luncheon and ceremony to honor three local employers receiving the Patriot Award.
Air Force Reservists or members of their families may nominate employers for recognition for their exceptional support of employees who are Air Force Reservists. Nominations were submitted to the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), and ESGR's local committee selected the awardees. The committee will present the Patriot Award to the employers for exceeding the requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
Media interested in covering the ceremony should report to the main gate on Lockport Road at 11:30 a.m. for escort to the function. The ceremony will follow the luncheon and begin at 12:00 p.m. Further questions or inquiries may be referred to Maj.
