The scholarships, which range from $250-$1,500, were presented to students last week during a reception and dinner held at Sean Patrick's Restaurant in Getzville.Several of the scholarships were awarded as part of NYCUA's statewide Scholarship Program, which assists credit unions and credit union chapters with marketing and promoting the scholarships. Award recipients were selected based
on academic performance, honors and awards, extracurricular activities, community activities, leadership roles and an essay.Scholarships were awarded to the following recipients:• Anna Cappello, Orchard Park High School, Great Erie FCU;• Angela Coulter, Niagara Wheatfield High School, Greater Niagara FCU;• Stephen Craig (NYCUA winner), North Tonawanda High School, Cornerstone Community FCU;• Marissa Dell'Isola, Mount St. Mary's Academy, Niagara's Choice FCU;• Michael Doucette, Williamsville East High School, Niagara's Choice FCU;• Rosemary Herbst (NYCUA winner), Hamburg High School, Meridia FCU;• Melanie Izard (NYCUA winner), Sweet Home High School, Sweet Home FCU;• Kyle Licht, Niagara Wheatfield High School, Niagara Regional FCU;• David Ludwig (NYCUA winner), Hamburg High
