Fidelis Care Promotes Anne Kontopoulos to AVP, Finance

QUEENS, NY (08/30/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to announce that Anne Kontopoulos has been promoted to the position of Assistant Vice-President of Finance. In this position, she will be responsible for financial and regulatory reporting, budgeting, and performance analyses.

Ms. Kontopoulos began her career at Fidelis Care in 2001 as a Budget Manager, and was promoted to the position of Director of Budget and Cost Accounting in 2002. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's of Business Administration degrees from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.

Ms. Kontopoulos has more than 30 years of experience in heath care finance for both providers and insurers, including 20 years at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn & Queens prior to joining Fidelis Care.

Born and raised in Flushing Queens, Ms. Kontopoulos and her husband now call Manhasset Hills on Long Island home. Their family includes two children and three grandchildren.
