FILLMORE, IL (09/28/2016)(readMedia)-- Pvt. Ricky A. Crouch, of Fillmore, Illinois, was sworn into the Illinois Army National Guard Sept. 19 at the St. Louis Military Entrance Processing Station.

Crouch enlisted as a 15N, Avionic Mechanic, and will be assigned to Company M, Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) based in Shiloh, Illinois.

He will attend basic combat training at Fort Benning, Georgia, and advanced individual training at Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Crouch also received 100 percent free college tuition with the Illinois National Guard Grant and the Select Reserve Montgomery G.I. Bill.

He is a senior at Nokomis High School where he participates in football, Future Farmers of America, Science Club, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. His family said they are very proud of him for enlisting with the Illinois Army National Guard. The Recruiting and Retention Battalion and Company M RSP congratulates Ricky and welcomes him into the ILARNG.
