Fourth Quarter 2012 Tech Valley Indices Sets Numerous Records

ALBANY, NY (02/06/2013)(readMedia)-- Hoffman Warnick LLC (HW), an intellectual property law firm based in Albany, NY and with offices in Rochester and Boston, has released the 2012 Fourth Quarter Tech Valley Patent Indices. The "Tech Valley Patent Indices" includes data for the Capital Region (Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer counties), Tech Valley, Tech Valley without IBM and GE, and the Capital Region without GE.

The Tech Valley Patent Index excluding GE and IBM at 447, the Capital Region without GE at 182 and the Capital Region at 333 all set all-time high records this quarter. "This may be the beginning of the Global Foundries effect," stated Spencer Warnick, partner at Hoffman Warnick.

The Annual Report also indicates a number of all time highs.
