GEORGETOWN, TX (04/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Daniel Tuttle, a sophomore from Georgetown, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through Sunday, April 1.
Tuttle placed thirrd at the Trinity Relays in the 110H running a new SU Record of 14.95, and 4th in the 400H running a new SU record of 56.24 (breaking 16 year old Southwestern record).
Tuttle leads the SCAC Performance List in both the 110 Hurdles and is second in the 400 Hurdles. He also ran anchor on SU's 4x4's best performance of the 2012 season.
Tuttle is also on the national scene, posting the ninth fastest time thus far in the 110 hurdles.
The Pirates have one more race before the conference championships. They head to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the Trinity Alumni Classic on April 14th.
