Grand Haven Resident Sarah Koscielniak to Speak at Concordia University, St. Paul Commencement

ST. PAUL, MN (05/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Concordia University, St. Paul student Sarah Koscielniak of Grand Haven, Mich., will give the farewell address to her fellow graduates during the university's commencement ceremony May 11, 2012 in the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia campus. Koscielniak is graduating summa cum laude with university honors in litteris fideque (in learning and faith) with an individually designed Urban Community Outreach degree.
Koscielniak has been active both on and off campus and is passionate about learning from people of different cultures, thoughts and beliefs than her own. She spent a year in South Minneapolis for the Urban Cross Cultural College Consortium program and has been working with the Twin Cities' Somali population the past four years. After graduation Koscielniak seeks to continue her work with refugees and immigrants in the Twin Cities.
