Hampshire Hog Titles Handed out at State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (09/10/2009)(readMedia)-- Pete and Lisa Peterson of Rhodes exhibited the Champion Gilt in the Hampshire Swine Show August 14, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair. Warrick Brothers of Prairie City won Reserve Champion Gilt honors.

The Champion Boar banner went to Earl Cain and Family of Chariton while Jeff and John Broek of Sioux Center claimed the Reserve Champion Boar title.

Ron Warrick and Family of Gowrie won Premier Exhibitor honors. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
