Hartwick Captures Empire 8 Doubles Team of the Week

Maddi Morrison '26 of Burnt Hills, N.Y., and Maggie Van Valkenburgh '26 of Highland, N.Y., earned the Empire 8 Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week honor on Sept. 8, 2025. The duo of Morrison and Van Valkenburgh were flawless in two wins, including a 6-1 upending of Geneseo's duo at No. 3 doubles on Saturday to help secure the key doubles point and win in the conference opener. The duo would collect a 6-2 win over Cortland at the No. 3 spot on Friday.
