Valda Boyd Ford of the Center for Human Diversity will inspire immigrants and communities of color to further engage in the health care reform debate and other important issues impacting them.

Ford will draw on her experience in bridging gaps in health care quality and access to lead a lively discussion. She will address health care reform and other top issues important to these diverse communities.

Attendees will:

• Recognize the importance of diverse community voices in policy debates.

• Gain practical steps for successful advocacy

• Recognize the impact of personal stories on decision makers.
