STAR LAKE, NY (06/29/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, in partnership with Clifton-Fine Hospital, will offer a series of Health Care Insurance Open Houses to the employees of Newton Falls Fine Paper who recently lost their jobs and may be in need of insurance coverage.
The Open Houses will be held on Thursday, July 7, 14, and 21 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Clifton-Fine Clinic, 1014 Oswegatchie Trail, Star Lake, NY. Former employees of Newton Falls Fine Paper are invited to stop by for refreshments and speak with a Fidelis Care representative who can answer questions on Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care programs the former employees may qualify for.
Tom Julian, Fidelis Care Marketing Director said, "During this difficult time of transition and uncertainty, Fidelis Care stands ready to offer assistance to the families impacted by the closing of Newton Falls Fine Paper. We encourage these families to meet with us at the Open House, or call us to arrange a one on one consultation. When communities face a devastating economic impact, such as the loss of a major employer, Fidelis Care is ready to lend a hand to ensure that families have access to the health care coverage they need, allowing them to focus their efforts on securing employment and supporting their families."
