SPRINGFIELD, IL (01/05/2016)(readMedia)-- Springfield, Ill. – Sharon Hultquist of Delavan, Illinois, was promoted to the rank of sergeant major Jan. 4 at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois.

Hultquist serves as the full-time military personnel office sergeant major for the Illinois Army National Guard.

Hultquist began her military career in 1986 as an enlisted Soldier in the United States Army assigned as an administrative specialist.
