Iowa Ladies Put the Hammer Down at Iowa State Fair Contest
DES MOINES, IA (08/23/2023) (readMedia)-- Carey Lynam of Creston took first place in the Ladies Nail Driving Contest, held Saturday, August 19, at the 2023 Iowa State Fair.
Carmen Knipper of Hopkinton took second place, and Tina Montz of Washington claimed third place.
The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
