Iowans Win Top Awards at Iowa State Fair Simmental Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Lone Tree Simmental of Lone Tree won Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Bull in the Simmental Cattle Show August 21, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair.

The Reserve Grand Champion Bull and the Reserve Champion Iowa Bull banners were awarded to JS Simmentals of Prairie City.

Finesse Livestock Enterprises of Geneva took the titles of Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Female. Reserve Grand Champion honors were awarded to Matthew Pemberton of Washington.

The Grand Champion Foundation Female banner was awarded to Nelson Family Farms of Mabel, Minn. and Jass Simmentals of Garner took Reserve Grand Champion honors.
