JCRC-NY to Honor New York Leaders Strengthening Jewish–Latino Relations at Annual Somos Reception

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (11/05/2025) (readMedia)-- On Thursday, JCRC-NY will host its annual Somos reception, honoring leaders who have strengthened relationships between Jewish and Latino communities in New York. The event will also feature the presentation of JCRC-NY's inaugural Mensch of the Year Award. All other honorees will be receiving JCRC-NY's Amistad Award.

In addition, JCRC-NY will unveil a Jewish-Latino Heritage Gallery Wall, showcasing the deep-rooted connections between Jewish and Latino communities throughout history.

The event is co-sponsored by UJA-Federation of New York and Spectrum.
