MACON, GA (03/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Jennifer Robertson of Bonaire, an education major at Macon State College, is one of 13 education majors chosen to make presentations at the Professional Association of Georgia Educators' FEAST conference in March 2011 at St. Simon's Island, Ga. (FEAST stands for Future Educators Association Spring Training and is an event for high school students who plan to major in education when they get to college.)

Along with two Macon State education professors, Nancy Greene and Loleta Sartin, the 13 education majors will present information about designing developmentally appropriate activities for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students.

"Our students are excited about this professional development opportunity," Sartin said. "We know they will represent Macon State well."
