Joseph Klein Awarded at Beloit College Honors Day
BELOIT, WI (05/02/2012)(readMedia)-- Joseph Klein '13, of Sioux Falls, S.D., recently received the John W. Bennett '37 Prize in Anthropology at the College's Honors Day Convocation on May 2. The Honors Day Convocation is an annual event held to honor outstanding Beloit College students and their accomplishments.
This award is given to a student or students whose work has most advanced the use of anthropology to address community or world issues. This prize is awarded in honor of John W. Bennett '37, a pioneer in applied anthropology.
Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students. Located 90 miles northwest of Chicago, Beloit is one of the nation's most international colleges, drawing students from 41 nations as well as 49 states.
