Joshua Ruddy Interns with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office

Joshua Ruddy, a criminal justice major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office in Greenville, South Carolina.

A resident of Mount Airy, Maryland, Ruddy directly shadows an officer, aiding him in a variety of tasks and observing situations in the field.

"Law enforcement is one of the most challenging careers in today's culture," said Ruddy. "I've seen the challenge. This internship gave me the opportunity to listen, learn and observe the different divisions within the Sheriff's Office."
