SCHENECTADY, NY (04/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Transfinder, a national leader in transportation management solutions for school districts, today announced that Julie Urig has joined its Implementation and Training team as Applications Specialist.
In this role, Urig is responsible for training clients on its suite of transportation management solutions to help them better manage their pupil transportation operations and communications. Also new this year, Urig will be developing and presenting several of the training sessions at Transfinder's first National Client Conference. The conference is being held at the Saratoga Hilton from July 8 through July 10, 2010.
Prior to joining Transfinder, Urig was a Learning and Development Manager at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a BPO company specializing in state government contracts. In her role at ACS, she managed several statewide software conversions for electronic benefit transfer programs and supervised the EBT recipient training for New York City and New York State.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Urig holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Restaurant and Tourism Administration.
