SPARTANBURG, SC (04/28/2010)(readMedia)-- Wofford College senior Justin Curry Davis was accorded Wofford College's highest academic honor Thursday, April 22, when he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Davis is majoring in English and religion at Wofford. In the fall of 2009, he completed his religion senior thesis, which focused on determining similarities and differences between 20th century German Jesuit theologian Karl Rahner and Thomas Aquinas on the topic of the Eucharist. Davis has worked in the Campus Ministries office and has been active in the Wofford College Chamber Players and the Newman Club. A candidate for the B.A. degree in May 2010, Davis is planning to apply to masters of theological studies programs in the fall. Parent: Lynn C. Davis (Inman, S.C. 29349).
Twenty-nine Wofford College students and recent graduates were initiated as members-in-course during the ceremony that marked the 69th anniversary of Phi Beta Kappa at Wofford.
