Kincaid Soldier promoted to command sergeant major

SPRINGFIELD, IL (07/09/2014)(readMedia)-- Anthony F. Mollusky of Kincaid, Illinois, was promoted to the rank of command sergeant major during a promotion ceremony at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois, July 8.

Mollusky enlisted in the active duty Army in 1990 as a quartermaster and equipment repairer. In 1998, he joined the Illinois National Guard's 3637th Maintenance Company in Springfield, Illinois, as a senior quartermaster repairer.

Mollusky was activated for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in 2005 and later deployed with the 3637th to Al Asad, Iraq from 2007 to 2008 where he served as the signal noncommissioned officer in charge.

Mollusky has worked as a full-time federal technician at Camp Lincoln as an IT specialist since 2010 and is assigned as the command sergeant major for the 405th Brigade Support Battalion in Chicago.
