SPARTANBURG, SC (05/20/2010)(readMedia)-- Wofford College senior Kristen DeYoung received the "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership Award during Honors Convocation held May 11.
DeYoung, a biology major, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa during her junior year. A recipient of the Harry D. Dobbs scholarship, she has been active on campus, serving many roles in the Kappa Delta sorority and the Panhellenic Council. She is a member of the Order of the Omega Greek Honor Society. DeYoung has served as the chair of the Fun Funds Committee for the Campus Union and as the chair of the Athletic Ad-hoc Committee. Her service to Wofford has been recognized with the J. The "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership Awards recognize those students who have made a positive difference on the campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership, and campus citizenship and service.
