Kutztown University Women's Soccer Names 2023 Team Captains

The Kutztown University women's soccer program named seniors Becca Delp (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove), Sadie Goad (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley), Isabella Rossetti (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East), and Dana Wentz (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) as captains for the 2023 campaign, as announced by head coach Erik Burstein.

It's the first time that Delp, Goad, Rossetti, or Wentz have been named captains in their college careers. The foursome have a combined 132 career appearances in the Maroon and Gold. All four played critical parts in last season's run to the Sweet Sixteen, highlighted by Rossetti's All-PSAC First Team campaign. The Cherry Hill, N.J. native finished second on KU with seven goals.

The Golden Bears kick off the 2023 season at the Gannon Invitational against Charleston (W. Va.) on Thursday, Aug. 31. That match will kick off at 3 p.m.
