La Crescent, Minn., native wins multiple student-athlete awards

BELOIT, WI (05/02/2014)(readMedia)-- James Lazarcik of La Crescent, Minn., won multiple awards on April 30 at Beloit College's 2013-14 Student-Athletic Activities Committee Banquet.

Lazarcik, a basketball player, won the Highest Individual GPA award in the men's basketball category, the Record-Breaking Performance of the Year award, and the Pat Dawson Award, which goes to the senior male athlete who best exemplifies the qualities of an athlete, scholar and leader. He also won the Blanket Award, the highest honor an active Beloit College senior athlete can receive and is one of the criteria for election to the Beloit College Athletic Hall of Honor.
