Lake City Farm Takes Top Honors in State Fair Angus Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/10/2009)(readMedia)-- Nicholas Collison of Lake City took Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Female banners in the Angus Cattle Show August 18, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair.

Henderson Farms of Drakesville took Reserve Champion Female honors.

The Grand Champion Bull was exhibited by Vin-Mar Cattle Co. of Gordon, Neb. Da Es Ro Angus Farms of Columbus Junction took the Reserve Champion and Iowa Champion Bull awards.

In addition to overall champion selection, Iowa Champions are chosen from the highest placing Iowa bred and owned animals in the show.
