ANNVILLE, PA (03/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College is again hosting a Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. This year's Relay kicks off at 3 p.m. March 30 and concludes at 4 a.m. the following morning.
The event will include an opening ceremony of recognition of survivors and caregivers at 4 p.m. and a "Fight Back" and luminaria ceremony at 8 p.m. In addition to walking the track at Arnold Sports Complex, participants have many activities and entertainment options including dodgeball, basketball, wing-eating contest, Zumba, scavenger hunt, bingo, racquetball, the annual "Miss Relay" pageant, and a poker tournament. Children's activities take place from 6 to 9 p.m. and include board games, face painting, hula hoop contest, crafts, make your own "More Birthdays" cupcake, and more.
