Lindell Joins Business Council Staff

ALBANY, NY (04/27/2011)(readMedia)-- The Business Council of New York State, Inc. has hired Sonia Lindell as a communications specialist. Her duties will include researching and analyzing economic data for the Public Policy Institute, assisting with internal and external communications and providing written analysis for legislative issues.

"Sonia Lindell's strong writing skills and knowledge of the legislative process will be an asset to The Business Council," said Heather Briccetti, Acting President & CEO of the Business Council. "We are glad to have her on board."

Lindell garnered considerable experience working in a variety of roles with the New York State Assembly, which included regional coordinator, press officer in the Assembly press office and, most recently, chief editorial writer for Communication and Information Services.

Lindell received a B.A. in psychology from the State University of New York at Albany.
