Lindsey Bolas Garners Southern Athletic Association Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Junior goalkeeper Lindsey Bolas of the Oglethorpe women's soccer team has been named the SAA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in the Stormy Petrels' season-opening victory over Benedictine (Illinois).

Bolas enjoyed an outstanding game Friday night in the Petrels' 1-0 season-opening win over the Eagles. She earned the clean sheet- tallying seven saves for the game. These saves included a handful of big ones down the stretch to help her team hold onto the one-goal advantage.
