SPRINGFIELD, IL (02/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Chief Warrant Officer (2) Eileen Konopacki of Lisle, with the Illinois Army National Guard's Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 108th Sustainment Brigade in Chicago, was promoted to the rank of chief warrant officer (3) Feb. 28 at Camp Lincoln in Springfield.

Konopacki enlisted into the Illinois Army National Guard in 1989 and later commissioned as a warrant officer (1) in 2006. Konopacki has served overseas in Italy and Korea and deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom in 2004 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008.
