Local student presents undergraduate research at Beloit College

BELOIT, WI (04/09/2013)(readMedia)-- Joseph Lownik, a senior from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., will present research at the 37th Annual Beloit College Symposium Day on Thursday, April 11. The biochemistry major will present on "Solute Studies on E. coli Alkaline Phosphatase" and on "Workshop Format Increases Scientific Knowledge, Skills, and Interest when Implemented in an Introductory Biology Course."

Symposium Day at Beloit College is an academic forum at which students publicly present their research to the college community.

Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students.
