Local student presents undergraduate research at Beloit College

BELOIT, WI (04/09/2013)(readMedia)-- Helena Tiedmann, a senior from Warren, Connecticut, will present research at the 37th Annual Beloit College Symposium Day. The political science/environmental geology double major will present on "Tasmanian Forest Policy and the Influence of the Greens Party" and on "Examining Solifluction Lobes as a Potential Sediment Source to Arctic Lake Linnevatnet, Spitsbergen, Svalbard." 

Symposium Day at Beloit College is an academic forum at which students publicly present their research to the college community.

Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students.
