PEABODY, MASS. (12/15/2011)(readMedia)-- Known for vehicles that cater to the young and young at heart, Lyon-Waugh Auto Group's MINI dealers in Bedford, New Hampshire and Peabody, Massachusetts are teaming up to brighten the holidays for less-fortunate children. Both MINI of Peabody and MINI of Bedford are currently collecting unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots, thanking customers with 15-percent discounts on select MINI Motoring gear and accessories.
The Lyon-Waugh Auto Group has a long history of giving back to community, holding past events like charity car shows and rallies, as well as donating vehicles for charity. As Lyon-Waugh's newest dealership and the first and only New Hampshire MINI dealer, MINI of Bedford is quickly making a name for itself in the community as well, collecting food for the New Hampshire Food Bank in November and now throwing open its doors for Toys for Tots.
"Any successful business should make it a point to give back to the community," said Warren Waugh, co-founder of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group. "We're honored to have the chance to collect toys for needy children, and we hope all of our customers will join us to ensure the holiday season is enjoyable for those in need."

"Our loyal MINI customers have proven in the past they're willing to give, so we're counting on them to step up and make this toy drive a success."
A loyal customer base recently gave MINI dealers a lift in the J.D Power and Associates 2011 U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index Study. MINI earned a higher satisfaction rating during the new-vehicle sales process than any mass-market brand, and even posted better numbers than the leading luxury brands. Based on 24,045 surveys filled out by new-car buyers last May, MINI scored 723 points out of a possible score of 1,000, handily outperforming other makes like Volkswagen and Buick.
