BEDFORD, N.H. (02/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Every cause needs advocates, and MINI of Bedford recently announced that it will be supporting the Children's Museum of New Hampshire in its latest fundraising efforts. The Museum will raffle off a MINI Cooper Convertible from the New Hampshire MINI dealer at its Cheers to Children food and wine fundraiser on March 23. Six hundred raffle tickets are currently being sold at $100 each, with proceeds going toward the Museum's operating costs.
Valued at $29,000, the Pepper White 2012 MINI Cooper Convertible features black bonnet stripes and a 121-horsepower, 1.6-liter engine. Though it is a drop-top, the prize is prepped to brave New England winters thanks to a Cold Weather Package that features heated seats, heated power-folding mirrors and heated washer jets. The lucky winner will also enjoy a six-speed automatic transmission, Bluetooth connectivity with an iPod adapter, a MINI Boost Stereo and a one-year subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio.
"The Children's Museum of New Hampshire does so much good for the community, and we are proud to give back by being a sponsor of this wonderful event," said Marshal Cabot, general manager of MINI of Bedford. "We're sure that whoever wins the Convertible will be thrilled, not only because they won a great car, but because they've also helped to support an important local organization."

The MINI Cooper Convertible is the first and currently the only convertible in the automaker's lineup, but that won't be the case for long. MINI's second drop-top and first-ever two-seat convertible, the MINI Cooper Roadster, will go on sale at the end of February.
"MINI has a reputation for delivering on fun, and the Roadster will be further proof of that," added Cabot. "Whether it's a two-seater or a four-seater, you can't go wrong with a MINI convertible. Both the MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper Roadster showcase the brand's commitment to creating the ultimate in motoring excitement."
