Marsillo & Leach Tabbed as Roos of the Week

CANTON, NY (12/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Christopher Marsillo (Lincroft, NJ) and Kristian Leach (Indianapolis, IN), both of the men's hockey team, have been named this week's Roos of the Week, as announced on Monday.

Marsillo turned aside a season-best 27 shots on Sunday but the Roos were unable to get on the scoreboard as they fell to visiting Hamilton College. The freshman stopped seven shots in the first period to keep the game scoreless and made 15 impressive second period saves to keep the hosts within two goals after the second stanza. In four appearances this season Marsillo has registered a .868 save percentage.

Leach had a team-best five shots on goal Sunday evening, his highest shot total this season. The sophomore was a force in the faceoff circle winning 13 of his 19 attempts. Leach leads the team with eight points and six assists this season.
