Mary Lee Gillmeister of Westfield receives science and teacher education award at Elms College

CHICOPEE, MA (05/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Mary Lee Gillmeister of Westfield received the Marie McKenna Davey Award at Elms College's annual Honors Convocation. The endowment has been established in honor of Marie McKenna Davey, an Elms alumna from the Class of 1944. It is presented to a woman who has distinguished herself in the sciences and teacher education fields.

Gillmeister was awarded her master of arts degree in teaching at Elms Sunday, May 16.
