HALFMOON, NY (10/20/2008)(readMedia)-- Sandy Treadwell, the Republican, Independence and Conservative Party candidate for the 20^th Congressional District, will hold a news conference at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2008, to discuss his plan to help states like New York close major budget gaps resulting from the financial fallout on Wall Street. The news conference will be held at the temporary LCA conference room in the Empire State Plaza Concourse (at the base of the Egg).

Treadwell will be joined at the news conference by Assembly Republican Leader James Tedisco (R-C-I, Schenectady-Saratoga) and former Assembly Republican leader and gubernatorial candidate John Faso.

The 20^th Congressional District includes all or part of the following 10 counties: Saratoga, Columbia, Dutchess, Rensselaer, Greene, Delaware, Warren, Washington, Essex, and Otsego.
