CAZENOVIA, NY (04/07/2011)(readMedia)-- The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall will host exhibitions of work by seniors in its Art and Design classes.
Megan L. Sanzo is a senior from Rensselaer, N.Y., who is majoring in psychology. Sanzo enjoyed the creativitiy of elective art classes. The show runs from April 18 - 24, with an artists' reception on April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary.
"My work," Sanzo writes, "is the culmination of life's lessons and raw emotion, mine and that of others around me. Glass and artist books are the three dimensional eyes into my world and into the world I live in. These media allow me to literally mold my world into exactly how I see it. The subject matter of each piece determines the specific papers or types of glass, but I actively seek feedback from those around me because they tend to influence my work."
