Michelle Baun Honored at Thomas Jefferson University's Annual Awards Ceremony

PHILADELPHIA, PA (09/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Michelle F. Baun, an Elkins Park resident and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Health Professions (JSHP) instructor and alumna, was recognized for her exemplary service to the School of Health Professions at Jefferson's Annual Awards Ceremony in June.

Ms. Baun, BSN'97, OTR/L, Rehab Program Manager for Penny Pack Center, one of Genesis Rehab's homes, accepted the Alumni Emerging Leader Award as an alumna, who early in her career, has made significant contributions in research, leadership in professional organizations, community service or other professional accomplishments. "Ms. Baun faces every challenge that comes with leadership." remarked presenter Janice P. Burke, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Dean of JSHP. "She has enthusiasm and dedication to excellence that is contagious to those around her."
