Milwaukee native honored by Marquette University's Department of Social and Cultural Sciences

MILWAUKEE, WI (07/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Rhaoda Thao, daughter of Chao Thao and Ma Chang, was honored with the Criminology and Law Studies Outstanding Senior Award from Marquette University's Department of Social and Cultural Sciences. Thao graduated in May with a bachelor of arts in criminology and law studies.

Every year, the criminology and law studies department recognizes one student who has excelled in academics, service, and leadership. Nominees for the award must be a criminology and law studies major (double majors are also eligible) with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.7. The student received a certificate.

Thao was selected for the award for her outstanding academic performance, exemplary service to the university and community.
