BATAVIA, NY (05/17/2012)(readMedia)-- Anna Modera, a resident of Geneva, NY (14456) was one of four members of the Genesee Community College women's lacrosse team named to the Western New York Athletic Conference All-Conference Team. She was named to the All-Conference First Team.
Modera led the Lady Cougars this season with 40 goals, which was the 19th most in all of the NJCAA. She also had 44 draw controls and 25 ground balls, both tops on the team.
Genesee finished the season 1-11. Their lone win against Niagara County Community College on April 26th was the first victory in the two-year history of the program.
Genesee Community College athletics program endeavors to provide a quality and competitive intercollegiate athletics program consistent with the National Junior Collegiate Athletics Association (NJCAA) philosophy and the overall educational mission of Genesee Community College.
