Much to Bark About at Clifton Park Center

CLIFTON PARK, NY (12/15/2010)(readMedia)-- Continuing in the tradition of being a great community partner, Clifton Park Center is partnering with The Capital District Humane Association to present their "Pet Photo Night" with Santa, at the mall tomorrow night, December 16th, 6-8:30 PM.

"Pets are people too, right?" says Dale Bouchard, Marketing Director for the mall, "partnering with CDHA has taken this Clifton Park Center event to a new level of helping to provide awareness to an organization that is 100% voluntary and who has worked hard to save pets of all sizes, shapes, ages and types for over 30 years."

Capital District Humane Association also provides a range of services to help animals, not just find homes for them.

They have helped people with special needs -- people who needed temporary emergency assistance due to catastrophic occurrences;

They provide emergency help for injured, stray or otherwise needy animals;

They work hard to educate the public on such issues as animal population control and other areas of vital importance to the health and well-being of animals.

Jennifer Politis, founder of the organization said, "We are committed to helping animals...and their owners and have saved thousands of pets from kill shelters all over the northeast. We are grateful to Clifton Park Center and the wonderful sponsors who have committed to help fund the event, MCW Solutions, Top Dog Pet Fence Company, Barkbusters and pet behavioral expert and blogger, Rachael Baum, World Wide Media, and Sloppy Kisses. We look forward to the community support we anticipate."

The mall and sponsors are providing giveaways, prizes and doggie treats, while supplies last. They invite public to bring their pets for a photo or a stroll, and visit the sponsor tables and Santa area in Center Court.
