NYS AFL-CIO Endorses Chris Fahey in 145th Assembly District Special Election
ALBANY, NY (02/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Today, the NYS AFL-CIO, which represents 2.5 million union members, announced that it has endorsed State Assembly Candidate Chris Fahey in the March 20th special election.
NYS AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento said, "I am pleased to announce the NYS AFL-CIO's endorsement of Chris Fahey for State Assembly. Chris has worked closely with our local affiliates on behalf of working men and women throughout Western New York, and as a result has gained their respect and support. Now, working families stand with Chris in his effort to serve in the state legislature."
"The NYS AFL-CIO represents thousands of hard working Western New Yorkers -- folks who build our roads, educate our children, care for our sick and so much more," said Chris Fahey, the endorsed Democratic candidate in the 145th Assembly District. "Our community needs a representative in Albany with a genuine commitment to putting in the hard work necessary to create real results for working families in this region. I'm committed to bringing that fight to Albany and I'm honored to have the support of the NYS AFL-CIO."

The NYS AFL-CIO represents approximately 12,000 working men and women in the 145th Assembly District.
