Nashville Resident David Pennel Honored at Thomas Jefferson University's Annual Awards Ceremony

PHILADELPHIA, PA (09/13/2011)(readMedia)-- David R. Pennel, a Nashville resident and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Health Professions, Department of Radiologic Sciences alumnus, was recognized for his exemplary service to the School of Health Professions at Jefferson's Annual Awards Ceremony in Philadelphia in June.

Mr. Pennel, BS '06, MS '08, RT (MR), CNMT, MRI Research Technologist, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, was awarded the Alumni Emerging Leader Award as an alumnus who, early in his career, has made significant contributions in research, leadership in professional organizations, community service or other professional accomplishments. "David has unlimited potential for success as evidenced by his desire to take on difficult imaging projects," remarked presenter Janice P. Burke, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Dean of JSHP. "He has a passion for contributing to research projects at a national and international level."
