Nazareth College Makes Big Gain in U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2018 Rankings
ROCHESTER, NY (09/12/2017) U.S. News & World Report has again ranked Nazareth College in the top tier of colleges and universities in the category of Best Regional Universities-North in its 2018 edition of U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges. Nazareth moved up 10 spots in the rankings to No. 28 in the Best Regional Universities-North (guide ranks by region) which covers 11 states and the District of Columbia. Nazareth College is also ranked No. 13 on the 2018 Best Colleges for Veterans list for regional universities-North category.
The 2018 edition of the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges book is now available online. Most of the rankings will also appear in the Best Colleges 2018 guidebook, which can be pre-ordered and will be available for sale via Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other retail outlets later this month.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges package represents the most comprehensive look at how more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools compare on a set of 15 widely accepted indicators of excellence. Among the many factors weighed in determining the rankings, the key measures of quality are: peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, alumni giving, and graduation rate performance (National Universities and Liberal Art Colleges).
