Nazareth College Music Department to present the Raymond Shiner Jazz Award Big Band on Saturday, October 15

ROCHESTER, NY (10/10/2016)(readMedia)-- The Nazareth College Music Department is pleased to welcome the Raymond Shiner Jazz Award Big Band in the Wilmot Recital Hall on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.. Conducted by Steve Frank, the band will also feature past award winners, and other jazz notables, such as guest artist, Joe Carello, on alto saxophone.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Raymond Shiner Jazz Award is presented to Nazareth College music students with talent and motivation in the area of jazz. Donations will be accepted for the award for these students.
