Nazareth College Students Honored with National Human Resources Association Scholarship

ROCHESTER, NY (03/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College is proud to announce Jazzlin Allen and Alison Lombard, as the Rochester affiliate winners of the highly competitive National Human Resources Association scholarship.

Allen, a master's in human resource management student who is also interning in Nazareth's human resource department, is the 2012 National Human Resources Association Student Scholarship winner. Lombard, a master's in management student and HR professional at Stantec, will receive the Professional Scholarship from the association. Eligibility for the scholarships required candidates to be enrolled in human resources or business-related classes at a recognized institution and in good standing with the National Human Resources Association. The two recipients will each receive $500 dollars to be used for educational purposes in the human resources field.

The National Human Resources Association is a nationally recognized organization that seeks to advance the leadership and development of human resource professionals. The organization focuses on the growth of human resource professionals at every level, from interns to executives, in order to better prepare individuals to lead the way in business. The National Human Resources Association promotes the provision of invaluable skills for its members, through educational efforts, leadership, and networking.
